Planting trees and seminars
The children from the village of Gorno Dryanovo planted 25 trees on the site indicated by the State Forestry of Garmen. The saplings were obtained with the assistance of DGS Garmen, as selected species suitable for the area.
To make it easier for the children, the rangers from the forestry department had prepared the places where the trees would be planted.
A short seminar is planned - instruction on how each child can take care of their tree.
The activity aims to increase young people's knowledge and understanding of the richness and processes occurring in forest ecosystems, their ecological functions, their importance for adaptation to climate change, etc. The goal is to restore the connection between children and nature, understanding and feeling the natural processes in the environment, and their importance for the maintenance and preservation of forest ecosystems and their multifaceted ecological functions.
